Have you noticed that many eye and skin treatments contain caffeine?
Caffeinated Black Tea Bags will shrink blood vessels reducing puffiness and dark circles. Caffeine also contains beneficial antioxidants, but the key ingredient is tannin. Tannins stimulate blood circulation and help tighten and sooth skin.

Top three methods:
1. Use freshly cut cucumber slices

2. Soak cotton balls in the cucumber juice

3. Grate cucumbers to make a sap

The ascorbic acids found in cucumbers decrease water retention on the skin around the eyes. This will reduce the swelling and puffiness and also revitalise the skin. These plants also have a mild skin bleaching effect, reducing the appearance of dark circles.

Refresh your face with an ice-cold water wash as soon as you wake up. This is also great if you hit the snooze button one too many times. If your eyes feel extra tired and puffy, soak a cloth, squeeze and lay over eyes.

The cold water works as a vain constriction which slows blood flow to the area. This in turn, reduces redness and inflammation.

Not a fan of cold water? It’s cool, try placing spoons in the refrigerator overnight and then over eyes in the morning.

It has the same effect as cold water.

Top three recipes:

1. Mix two egg whites gently and simply apply a layer under your eyes and let it dry for 15
minutes, then wash off.

2. Mix egg whites with potato juice and whisk. Apply this mixture under your eyes and let it dry for 15 minutes, then wash off.

3. Gently mix egg whites with the juice of half a lemon. Soak in a thick tissue or paper towel
