What is an eye test?
Never had an eye test? It’s not as scary as you think!
We will do a series of tests to make sure that your eyes are healthy and working well. If not we will discuss your tailor-made solution, and help you choose the best frame for you!
Do you need an eye test?
Ideally, you should have an eye test once a year.
You might need to have your eyes checked more often if you:
- are a child wearing glasses
- have diabetes
- are aged 40 or over and have a family history of glaucoma
- are aged 70 or over
- are experiencing eye problems

The St David's PTA
Making A Difference
This year the PTA embarked on a special initiative, driven by Grade 7 parents and optometrist, Tania Noach and PTA committee member Kim Abraham.
The initiative ensured that all of our support and estate staff had a comprehensive eye screening and then, where necessary, received new glasses. This included sunglasses for our security and estate staff who work outdoors in the glare of the sun all day.
The initial and further screening was done by Tania and her Vision Works team and PTA generously offered to cover the framing and lenses.
This initiative will continue and extend next year. Our sincere thanks to Tania, Kim and the PTA for making a difference!
